Education Promotion Board Kirbet Taluka Sangameshwar District Ratnagiri. this organization is located at the foot of Vishalgad in Sahyadri, village Devade, Bhowade and Kirbet. The academic performance of the students of Panchkroshi Bhadkamba In 1984 for convenience establishment to do came. In June 1985 , Kirbet secondary school was started. The school, located in the village settlement, educates children up to the seventh standard. They was studying for further education about 12 km away. Sakharpa had to go there for secondary education , communication facilities. Because of not having on foot they had to travel. Even though girls were not studying further, no one was thinking about them. Kirbet Start there secondary school completed a river of knowledge in the area. It turned out to be a streamer .

Since the founding president of the organization is highly educated, moreover, due to his passion for social service, he started a second secondary school in 1992 in a very remote area in the second valley of the Sahyadri, Ozare Budruk. Gradually, society changed and girls started studying along with boys up to 10th standard. There was a facility for 11 th and 12th standard junior college in Sakharpa, but there was no facility for further education. There was no option but to go to Devrukh or Ratnagiri. However, due to lack of financial support, the children were deprived of higher education. Therefore, the president, with a passion for the welfare of the society, established a school in 2001. August 9th Revolution Day Senior College was started on the day . This proposal of the institute was approved at the university level in the year 2003 and Arts and Commerce College Sakharpa came into being. In the form of this college, the villages of the southern part of Sangameshwar taluka got a golden opportunity of education up to graduation. For the last 23 years. The institute is continuously running the college on an unaided basis. Along with academic facilities, co-curricular facilities are provided to the students in the college. Students participate in many programs held at the university level through the college. Students are achieving great success in other fields as well as the curriculum. Highly educated staff from the area are there to guide them. Non-teaching staff has been granted. It is a local institution, so the college has been running well for the last 23 years despite being unfunded. The honorarium paid to the employees is deposited in their bank accounts on the 5th of every month. The college's founder president, Professor Aba Sawant, has played an invaluable role in its current form.
