Hon’ble prof. Gangaram Bapurao Sawant ( Abaji Sawant) to start a senior college named Arts & Commerce College, Sakharpa in 2002- 2003 with the noble intention of providing higher education to all classes of the society.

The college was established on the concept of parent Institution to educate the students of Sakharpa Panchkroshi and Lanja and ShahapurTehsils of Farmers, Worker’s, at the time of establishment our college was the only option available to the children or the aforementioned population for higher education opportunities.
