About

The Department of Marathi was established in the year 2003 . our subject Marathi is an optional subject at F.Y/ S.Y/ T.Y.B.A At F.Y.B.A level subject Marathi is compulsory our college is having subject. Marathi 3 unit level at B.A Degree course.

Our past students have developed their career in different walks of life some students are doing best in theatre & film activity some of them are settled as a Teacher ( Sr. College) some students are playing active role in news papers as reporter.

We are proud of our department of Marathi. Because with the help of Marathi Language and Literature our department is making maximum efforts to develop culture & Future of the students that they should become good citizens of country.

Vision, Mission & Objectives

Vision- To create interest in Marathi Literature Art & Culture.

Mission- To make skill oriented – self confident & proactive student & to introduce history of Marathi literature & its streams as well as to inspire creative writing of literature.

Objectives:
1) Motivating students to read & Write
2) To introduce Marathi literature.
3) To create awareness about society & culture through the study of literature.
4) Developing the ability to absorb knowledge
5) Increasing social equality & development .

Outcomes

1) Marathi students are introduced to Marathi language & literature.
2) Literary work & reviews of Marathi students are enriched by their knowledge.
3) Fond of Literature is created in the minds of Marathi students.
4) Students are motivated for creative writing.
5) By studying practical & applied Marathi students prove their quality by entering print media – e media etc.
6) Reading skills writing skills listening skill conversation skills speech skills etc. in Marathi curriculum gains linguistic skills.

Departmental Library

Departmental Library of Marathi Department runs this activity the library has been running since 2003. Every year efforts are made to enrich and enrich this library so that the culture of reading should be inculcated in him. Specially students are guided about important news and articles.

The records of the books in the library . students, date etc are made in the register the amount for the book has been used from the amount received for the miniresearch project.
